Every patient relationship begins the same way — with a comprehensive look at what's actually happening in your body. No assumptions. No guesswork. No protocols pulled off a shelf. Your labs tell Paige where to start, and your goals tell her where to take it.
Below you'll find the lab packages that start it all, and the ongoing membership tiers that follow. Labs are ordered remotely and drawn locally — no travel, no referral, no months-long wait.

Choose a lab panel.
Choose the panel that fits where you are. Most new patients start with the Hormone Panel — it gives Paige the breadth of markers she needs to see patterns, make connections, and make the first visit genuinely diagnostic rather than exploratory.
All panels are ordered remotely through Rupa Health. Labs are drawn at a certified site or a mobile phlebotomist near you. No travel to Virginia required.

After your labs,
Paige recommends the right ongoing care membership.
Labs give Paige the full picture. Your clinician visit gives her the context. Together, they tell her exactly what kind of ongoing care will actually move the needle for you.
After your panel and visit, Paige recommends one of four membership tiers — based on your results, your goals, and the complexity of your case.
No upsell. No pressure to commit. The recommendation is based entirely on what your biology needs.
Our memberships aren’t subscriptions to get refills. What you're getting with us is a relationship — a provider who understands your uniqueness, your genetics, your age, and your lifestyle. It's ongoing access to a provider who already knows your case, so every visit builds on the last instead of starting over.

Your ongoing care pathway
Three membership tiers — named for what they're built to accomplish. Paige recommends the right one after reviewing your initial labs. Most patients land in Optimize or Restore and transition to our Maintain Membership (a cost-effective membership for stable patients) after 12 months of foundational work.Â
Â
All membership tiers include: RX management, lab ordering, individualized care plans, access to our patient resource center, supplement discounts, functional medicine specialty labs, and the ability to message Paige between appointments.

Getting Started
Which states is Paige licensed in?
She is licensed to practice and work with patients in VA, DC, WV, MD, NY, OK, CO, AZ, FL, WY, UT, TX, & OR.
How does telemedicine work?
Fitting self-care into a busy schedule is a challenge. Telemedicine is a modern solution that makes getting good care more convenient… No waiting in a doctor’s office and less time away from work and family.
My practice was built to facilitate virtual consultations, and connecting with patients remotely is easy. There’s no need for fancy software on your end, as long as you’re comfortable using the internet.
You will receive detailed instructions at each step of the process, and all appointments take place via a HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom.
Do I have to travel to Virginia to be a patient?
No. Paige practices entirely via telehealth. However, you must live in one of the states where she is licensed to practice to be a patient.
Can I book a consultation before ordering a lab panel?
Yes! We offer 20-minute consultations for $33. You can book a consultation appointment here.Â
What happens after I purchase my lab panel?
You will receive an email with detailed instructions on next steps. You will be asked to create an account in our patient portal, Healthie, and complete new patient intake forms. Once you have created your account and completed your new patient intake forms, we will order your lab panel. Our office manager will message you in Healthie with further instructions.
Do I have to commit to a membership after ordering a panel?
No, you are not required to enroll in a membership tier after ordering a lab panel or scheduling a review appointment.Â
Lab Panel Costs & Insurance (Entry Panels Only)
Can I use my health insurance to pay for the Core, Hormone, or Full Healthlab panels?
No. However, if you enroll in any of our membership tiers, you are welcome to try to use your health insurance for all future follow-up labs. See the Ongoing Care & Membership Labs section for more information.
Why does this cost more than a lab-only service?
Because you're not just buying results. You're buying time with a provider who learns about who you are, reads your results, explains them in the context of your health, and builds a plan with you. That patient-provider relationship is what actually moves the needle.
How long does it take to get my lab results back?
Results typically take 1–4 weeks to come in. It depends on where we order your labs from (Quest Diagnostic or a local lab) and how busy the lab is at the time of your draw. We'll review your results with you once everything is in — we don't release results piecemeal as they arrive.
What is Rupa Health, and how does it work?
Rupa Health is an online lab ordering platform that allows us to order labs on your behalf at significantly reduced cash-pay rates — no insurance required.
Here's how it works: after you purchase a lab panel and complete all new-patient intake forms, we order your labs through Rupa Health. You'll receive an email with instructions and a requisition form, or a kit will be shipped to you to bring to your blood draw appointment.
You take that form to a certified draw site near you — typically a local lab or Quest Diagnostics location — and your blood is drawn there. Alternatively, Rupa Health offers mobile phlebotomy in many areas, meaning a certified draw technician comes to you. Mobile draws are convenient but do carry an additional fee of $50–$150 charged directly by the draw provider.
Ongoing Care & Membership LabsÂ
If I become a patient, can I use my insurance for future lab work?
Possibly — it depends on your plan. We order all ongoing labs through LabCorp. When your labs are ready to be ordered, you'll take your order to a LabCorp location near you and provide your insurance information directly to them at check-in. LabCorp will bill your insurance from there — we're not involved in that process at all.
Whether your insurance covers it is between you and your plan. To find out before your draw, call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask:
- "Is LabCorp in my network?"
- "Do you cover lab work ordered by an out-of-network provider?"
- "What is my deductible status for lab services?"
If your insurance doesn't cover it, we can also order through Rupa Health. Labs are still drawn at a location near you — most patients use a local lab or Quest — or a mobile phlebotomist can come to you (mobile draws carry an additional fee of $50–$150 charged by the draw provider).
Out-of-pocket costs through Rupa are typically $120–$160 for repeat HRT monitoring labs and $260–$280 for a comprehensive biannual panel.
How often will I need labs as an ongoing patient?
It depends on your care tier and whether you're using hormone replacement therapy.
Patients on HRT require a basic monitoring panel every 3 months — this is a safety and prescribing requirement, not optional.
Patients who aren't on HRT typically retest every 6–12 months, or sooner if something specific warrants a closer look. Paige will let you know what your schedule looks like based on your unique needs.
What is Rupa Health, and how does it work for patients?
Rupa Health is an online lab ordering platform that allows us to order labs on your behalf at significantly reduced cash-pay rates — no insurance required. It's the option we use when LabCorp isn't covered by your insurance, or if you simply prefer to pay out of pocket.
Here's how it works: after your appointment, we place your lab order through Rupa Health and you'll receive an email with instructions and a requisition form.
Typical out-of-pocket costs through Rupa Health:
Repeat HRT monitoring labs: approximately $120–$160
Comprehensive biannual panel: approximately $260–$28
These are estimates and may vary slightly depending on the specific markers ordered.
Your results are returned through Rupa Health and reviewed in detail with you by Paige during your next follow-up appointment.
The process is straightforward, and most patients find the turnaround time comparable to going through insurance — often faster.
About Our Practice
What is Healthie and why do I need an account?
Healthie is our HIPAA-compliant patient portal — it's how we communicate and coordinate everything outside of your appointments.
Through Healthie you can message our team, schedule and join your telehealth visits, complete intake forms, access your documents, and explore our patient resource center.
You'll receive an invitation to create your account after purchasing a lab panel or booking a consultation.
Do you accept insurance? (for visit/consultation fees)
We are a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly.
For visit and membership fees, upon request, we can provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Whether your plan covers out-of-network providers is worth a quick call to your insurer to find out. For lab costs, see the lab-specific questions above.
Can you be my primary care provider?
Although I am board-certified in family practice, I specialize in functional medicine, and my practice structure does not allow me to be available at the level of acuity required for a primary care practice.
I am your functional medicine consultant and require that you maintain your primary care provider (PCP) for routine screening exams, such as pap smears, colonoscopies, prostate exams, etc., and for urgent situations requiring immediate care or hospitalization.
I am happy to work collaboratively with your PCP and/or specialists and ask that you continue that relationship.
Do you collaborate with other providers?
Yes! I am happy to collaborate with my patients’ other providers and specialists.Â
When can I expect to see results?
The time it takes to see results with functional medicine can vary due to several factors.
Each patient is unique, and the root causes of their health issues are often complex and multifaceted. Functional medicine focuses on individualized care, addressing these root causes rather than just treating symptoms. This personalized approach means that treatment plans are tailored to each patient's specific needs, which can lead to varying timelines for seeing results.
Functional medicine takes a comprehensive approach, which involves thorough diagnostics, lifestyle changes, and often multiple therapeutic interventions. These strategies aim to create lasting improvements rather than quick fixes.
The body requires time to heal and rebalance, especially when dealing with chronic conditions or multiple health concerns. Therefore, achieving sustainable results often involves gradual progress, continuous adjustments, and a commitment to long-term health changes. Patience is essential, as lasting results are more valuable than temporary relief.
