20 Minute Consult

Group Session #11

00:00:00 Q1 a.) I have been reading/ hearing about the need to do yeast, mold, parasitic detoxes from 1-4 times a year as it is something missed by doctors as to the cause of many underlying issues with things such as Biocidin's Biofilm Disruptor or other combinations of natural herbs (clove, oregano, black walnut, garlic, wormwood, etc.). Thoughts?  b.) If yes and have had some evidence of working, should this be followed by maybe a stronger medication such as ivermectin, praziquantel, fenbendazole, etc. or do another round of natural methods in part a?

00:11:54 Q2 Who are the prime candidates for mold, parasite, etc. detoxes?

00:13:32 Q3 What is muscle testing?

00:17:13 Q4 Dr. Ben Lynch, Dirty Genes, recommends Adrenal Cortex for adrenal support when battling high cortisol and adrenal fatigue when first steps (fixing diet, sleep, exercise, meditation) are not bringing things down after a period of time, especially if you have "dirty" DAO/HNMT, MAOA, and/or COMT genes. He states high histamine loads create more cortisol which creates more histamine into a vicious cycle. Taking Zyrtec (or the like) tells the brain to not recognize it but does not remove the histamine and Benadryl, while doing similar also reduces phosphatidylcholine in the brain causing more issues with MAOA & COMT genes as well as neuropathways in the brain. Thoughts?

00:26:28 Q5 What would you recommend to a patient experiencing a histamine flare? What would be the natural alternatives to zyrtec/Benadryl?

00:27:32 Q6 If a person is in stage 3 burnout, can you come back from that with just the foundational habits? Or do you have to use products like Adrenal Cortex?

00:29:43: Q7 What are your recommendations for improving bile flow? Apparently women over forty are at higher risk of sluggish bile flow causing more risk of gallstones. Those with a "dirty" PEMT gene are at even higher risk due to slow movement of last phase of liver function before dumping waste into bile to be transported through the intestine. If bile gets sluggish, it gets thicker and creates stones/sand of cholesterol as well as higher triglycerides as the body cannot process it quickly. There is much debate on how this can be accomplished in the holistic, functional,  Ayurveda (alternative Indian Medicine) groups easily found on internet searches. Some ideas put forth are as extreme as liver flushes/detoxes; medium as in Bhumy Amalaki (Indian herb), Bile salts, dandelion root, etc.; to small such as eating grapefruit, coffee, apple cider vinegar before meals.

00:37:26 Q8 What is estrogen dominance? How does it relate to cancers?

00:47:52 Q9 Can you explain what hormones look like as you go through pregnancy and breastfeeding?

00:50:55 Q10 Does taking HRT estradiol contribute to estrogen dominance?
